The PIM system provides a central catalog of all product data. The unified product database allows the company to provide all current and future locations with a data they need to sell effectively.

Our team helped WRI centralize product data from all of the company's locations. The disparate data was unified and organized into a central product database. The next step was to create a unified architecture, taking into account the need for integration with an external system. The prepared database is now fully supported by the Certusoft PIM system and all data is stored in the Certusoft Cloud in the professional data center. The sales department manages product information in one place, using only a web browser. Product directories for stationary sales in the company's stores are managed by an external system. Each of these local product databases is automatically fed by the central product information management system.

Advanced product information system and its use for the presentation of an offer

Our solution allows WRI to store a wide range of data and then link them together according to the company's needs. One such example is the storage of product colors. These are not just simple color definitions stored in a product record. Our application allows the WRI team and their clients to use colors to present and search for products by customers in the HIPPER.pl online store.

Data consistency is the key to greater efficiency. With the single, centralized database, data is distributed to all points of sale and used in the online store. This eliminates the risk of errors, increases the speed of information flow, and maintains data consistency between financial documents, inventory, and product stock.

Inventory information across all stores

The PIM system for WRI's distribution network is the single source of data for multiple distribution channels. Because our system is part of a broader implementation, we have been able to make the inventory of individual products visible in the product catalog. This provides several benefits, such as a quick view of the information without having to switch between an additional warehouse application or a dedicated inventory control window. A unified product database without erroneous or duplicate product identifiers combined with the inventory also allowed the implementation of Certusoft PROP (Automated Purchase Orders). It's a tool that analyzes sales or stock levels and, based on this, automates the ordering of goods from suppliers.

Sales analysis for the entire store network and online sales

By integrating data from multiple locations, WRI's sales team can analyze hundreds of thousands of sales items at once. Not just for one location, but for the entire company sale network. The central application allows them to understand products and their flow. Sales can be analyzed by groups, products or individual points of sale. The system of advanced filters allows practically unlimited possibilities to prepare the necessary set of data. The ability to save all configured and used filters increases productivity. Both at the user level and for the entire organization. Repeated acquisition of the same data set is limited to the selection of the same filter. Employees save time and the data is presented in the same structure.

Product grouping for sales channels

Certusoft PIM system gives you the ability to group products in any way you want. Either by creating groups manually or based on the structure prepared in imported external files. The structure of groups is used to generate the menu of the HIPPER.pl online store. In it, a special group of products has been created for online sales.

Complete product history

Our system allows WRI to track the history of a specific product. In a single window, it is possible to get acquainted with such data as product batch or location (warehouse, point of sale).

Export of product data to other programs

Certusoft ERP system provides the capability to export data directly from PIM. A set of data about products, sales and other parameters can be generated as a spreadsheet file (CSV, XML, XLS).

Additional benefits of the PIM system for stationary sales net

The unification of the product base has brought another additional benefit. Certusoft PIM system enabled the implementation of Certusoft MWM (Warehouse Management mobile app). Employees using mobile warehouse terminals can check the status of a product in the store at any time. By scanning the product's barcode or manually searching for it, they can instantly see the status in their own store and in the company's other stores.
