Transport management system

Transport management system

Certusoft TMS is a transport and delivery management module that supports companies operating shipments with their own fleet. It streamlines the work of logistics teams and drivers—from shipment planning and documentation, through delivery scheduling, to route execution and order settlement.

Transport Management System

Certusoft TMS (Transport Management System) is a module for managing transport and deliveries that supports logistics processes in companies handling shipments using their own fleet. The system helps organize the work of the logistics department and drivers—from preparing shipments and documents, through delivery notifications, to route execution and order settlement. Transport data can also be used in other areas, including workflow, DMS, the claims system, warehouse operations, and finance and accounting.

What the TMS module includes

1) Transport orders and route planning

In Certusoft TMS, the logistics department prepares transport orders individually for each driver (with vehicle assignment). The system supports planning route stops and the tasks to be completed at each stop, and it allows you to control the order in which delivery points are serviced.

2) Shipments, documents, and delivery notifications

The system simplifies preparing shipments for customers, handling consignments/parcels, and transport documents. It also enables receiving and sending delivery notifications, including via mobile terminals.

3) Statuses and real-time execution control

TMS provides full control over progress: the logistics planner can see completed and pending tasks, receives information about order completion times, and can access documents created in the event of delivery errors. The driver can quickly update an order status, and changes are automatically visible in the central system.

Mobile app for drivers

As part of the TMS module, an intuitive web app for drivers is available, running in a browser on any phone. It does not require lengthy training—the driver can start the route “with one click.” Each driver has an individual account and can see only their active route.

Key features of the driver app

Delivery discrepancies and on-site reports at the customer

In the event of a delivery error, the app allows the driver to prepare a discrepancy report directly at the customer’s location. The driver can:

Driver cash register and cash-on-delivery

Certusoft TMS can support cash-on-delivery shipments. The app includes a driver-assigned cash register module and enables cash operations during delivery.

Mobile printing and full transport documentation

The driver app supports external devices—including wireless mobile printers-so drivers can print documents, confirmations, and reports in the field. The system also supports printing receipts, discrepancy reports, and customer settlement documents.

Order settlement and transport efficiency analysis

After completing a route, the driver can settle the completed order. The logistics department gains control over executions and access to data such as the vehicle’s starting and ending mileage. The system also enables efficiency analysis using information on execution times at individual delivery points.
