Certusoft PIM has been extended with dynamic pricing functionality for the food and FMCG industry to support product rotation and large product volumes. The PIM system for the food industry takes into account parameters such as product stock levels in warehouses and product batches. The calculation is performed according to the selected pricing policy, which can be defined for product groups, manufacturers or warehouses. The system user can set price limits. The limits can take into account several calculation scenarios depending on the sales model and defined sales thresholds. The PIM system automatically controls that a given product is not sold below the set profitability threshold. At the same time, it ensures that the products and their batches are sold in the desired order in the individual warehouses. The level of complexity of the calculation process can even be specified only for the point of sale and a single product.
For the Lobo Group and Product Information Management, the Certusoft team has worked on the connection with the digital product content provider Nielsen Brandbank. Information such as product descriptive data, product parameters, and product images are downloaded to the PIM system for the food industry. Nielsen Brandbank operates in the markets of 39 countries and is a partner of tens of thousands of brands, hundreds of distributors, and wholesalers. Certusoft carried out the integrations according to Lobo's needs and the scope of imported data is defined according to the needs of the target type of sales.
